Chanoyu Events

Ever wish you knew more about Japan's tea culture? Experience a
tea ceremony to learn about the living art of tea that has inspired
the creation and development of distinct Japanese art forms from
the 16th century to the present.

In the rustic setting of the tearoom, enjoy a calligraphic scroll
brushed by a Zen master, seasonal flowers artlessly arranged, the
delicate fragrance of incense, steam rising from the iron kettle, a
seasonal Kyoto-style sweet, the astringency of powdered green
tea, and the singularity of each moment that can never be
repeated.
