Seasonal CHADO Tea Gatherings and Events
In the rustic setting of the tearoom and garden far from worldly concerns, enjoy
calligraphy brushed by a Zen master and seasonal flowers artlessly arranged. In
the muted light of the intimate space, experience the delicate fragrance of
incense rising from the coals heating the water in the iron kettle, hand-crafted
confections, the astringency of powdered green tea, and the singularity of each
moment that can never be repeated. Select works of fine and applied arts are
featured.
